Nest of white beasts, (ensō #48)
This work is a sensory exercise designed to raise awareness of the transformations taking place in each space through musical silence. The installation begins with music reproduced in a space, drawing the audience into the room. Once the audience is inside the space, the playback of the music is interrupted, leaving the viewer enveloped by the silence of the music. However, this silence is a form of representation. Indeed, once the music has stopped, we begin to hear our breathing, the sound of our footsteps, the sound of the wind at the threshold of our ears. Our inhabitation, our existence and that of the existences that are part of the space, implies the impossibility of creating silence. It is in this impossibility that existence reveals itself to us as an act of creation.
